Account information
When you create a Fish Coin account we store your name, username, email address and a securely hashed password. We never store plain-text passwords, wallet private keys, seed phrases or payment card details. For USDT withdrawals we store the wallet address and network you provide so the team can send the payment.
Emails
We send account emails (email verification, password resets, withdrawal and security notices). Promotional emails are only sent if you opt in, and every promotional email has an unsubscribe link. You can change this anytime in Profile & Settings.
Website analytics
Website analytics: Fish Coin uses its own first-party analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate country, device type, browser, operating system and how you arrived, e.g. search, social media or a referral link). We set two first-party cookies: fish_vid (a random visitor ID, kept for 12 months) and fish_sid (a random session ID that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity). We do not store your IP address for analytics; approximate location comes from your browser's time zone or our CDN's country header. Referring website addresses are stored without query strings. Analytics data is not sold or shared and is deleted after 400 days. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not record analytics for you.
- Collected: pages viewed, time of visit, session length, approximate country/city (from time zone or CDN country header), device type, browser, operating system, traffic source and referral code used.
- Not collected: IP addresses, precise location, passwords, wallet keys or payment credentials.
- Opt out: enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, or block cookies for this site.
Security logs
To protect accounts we keep limited security records (for example the IP address used at sign-up and for withdrawal requests) to prevent fraud and abuse such as duplicate accounts.
To allow only one account per person, the site stores a random device identifier (in your browser's storage and a cookie) and one-way hashes of basic device characteristics (screen size, pixel ratio, CPU cores, memory, time zone, graphics card, browser). These are used only to detect duplicate accounts and referral abuse, are never sold or shared, and cannot be turned back into the original values.
